It is interesting learning about the different types of leadeship theories this semester. I never really thought of myself as a leader. Our leadership skills are being challlenged in this class, because we were tasked with a community service project idea. Our group has come up with the idea of “Love to Book It.” We will be reading to the ten first grade classrooms at Meadow Lane Elem. for our project.

On November 19, 2009, WCC students teamed up with firstbook. Over 240 firstgrade students were given bookmarks, books, cupcakes, and had their face painted. “Love To Book IT,” was very rewarding for the students of Meadow Lane and the students of Wayne Community honor students.
