Purpose of this blog

I envision this blog as a means for students to talk about suggested topics as it relates to their life experience. I hope that we can encourage people from outside of the United States to chat with us, so that we can learn from them, and share a bit of our own culture with them. For this reason, I have chosen to include the Google translator to help those for whom English is not their primary language.
